I've run scythesin. I've run AP-MoP. There's no comparison. AP-MoP is lightyears beyond scythesin in terms of DPS.
The only other build in GW that I'm aware of that can compete with AP-MoP for damage output is AP-AE-CoP.

Scythe crits are still dealing more damage than a single MoP hit. Also hitting Death Blossom deals roughly the exact same amount of two MoP hits, however you still have to hit your lead and off-hand there.

Explain, please.
Death Blossom is infact two MoP hits, minus the hex.
Scythe is just MoP on steroids.

MoP inflicts damage regardless on who inflicts the physical damage. If you only have one person attacking your target, you're doing something wrong.
You're not going to be able to match 200+ DPS with a scythe.

Alright, two Scythsins gogo?
One person is the MoP, but if a Scythesin can outdamage an MoP, two scythsins will outdamage two people hitting an MoP'd target too.

This is going to get stupid.
Minions can more than make up for the extra hits. Plus physical damage can come from anyone. Your healer or prot monks can have a spear equipped and be hurting your target when they're not casting. If you have a MM in your team, some of his minions will hit your target. Plus he can have a spear too.
One necromancer can still outdamage a large number of Scythe wielding sins without a fully considered team set up.
Just give any heroes a caster spear and away you go.

This discution is just ridiculous now.
There is no RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing point discussing what's dealing more damage between a sin and a necro.
This is Tyla against necros, both make erronous assumptions and show ridiculous numbers in their favor.
Reported for stupidity.

From what I've read this is just turning into a big pissing match with words. If you cant contribute to a good discussion then theres no point in posting. This one has gone on long enough.
Have a nice day.
